HERBS

‘One day I will have my own herb garden’. I can see it. Fresh herbs with all it’s amazing benefits and taste. I can eat a whole plant of parsley a day if I have it. For now, living in a apartement, I have a plant lamp for ‘indoor herbs’.

○ PARSLEY

Fresh parsley is great for digestion on its own. Parsley is well known for strengthening the functioning of the kidneys and for digestion. Parsley is high in nutrients, notably Vitamin C and Vitamin A. Gives a fresh breath too.

There was a time I couldn’t go a day without it.

○ ROSEMARY

Rosemary is rich in antioxidants, increases digestion, and is good for low blood pressure as it stimulates the blood circulation in the body.

○ THYME

Thyme is mucosal (slemlösande), contains antibacterial oils, and strengthens the immune system. I had a long cold when I started craving Thyme.

○ OREGANO

Apart from fresh Oregano there is Oregano Oil. Written about, talked about and it got my attention.

The herb contains lots of antioxidants and important minerals.

Oregano is highly anti-inflammatory, has expectorant (slemlösande) properties and stimulates the gallbladder for more bile production and thus better digestion.

The herbs I want and need changes, Intuitive Eating. The body knows and all we have to do is ask and listen.
